Become certified in Waterfront and Pool Lifeguarding in a weekend!
Upon successful completion, this hybrid course will allow you to work at a pool or open water site for 2 years. You will also be certified in CPR/AED and First Aid for the Professional Rescuer (valid for 1 year)
Waterfront Lifeguarding Prerequisite Skills
1) Swim-Tread-Swim Sequence
Swim 350 yd, tread water 2 min no hands, finish with 200 yd swim
(swimming must be front crawl and/or breast stroke, without touching bottom or stopping; goggles permitted)
2) No Goggles Timed Event (1:40)
Swim 20yds, surface dive 7-10ft, retrieve 10lb brick & return 20yds holding brick on chest with both hands and exit the water
3 )Underwater Swim
Swim 5yds, submerge & retrieve 3 Rings 5yds apart, finish swimming 5 yds

If SKYHIGH Adventures LLC cancels a course, a full refund will be given to all participants, or at the customer's request, registration will be moved to a future course.
