25th Annual SKYHIGH Adventures KIDs Triathlon
Grafton Lakes State Park
FRIDAY, JULY 11 at 6:00pm
- SWIM: The swim starts on the beach with a short 100 meter run to the 100 meter open water swim. The water is shallow enough to stand in and lifeguards and volunteers are in the water with them if they need any help.
- BIKE: The bike is a 5K closed course on dirt trails and park roads in the beach area.
- RUN: The run is a short, flat 1K out and back trail run.
- FINISH: The finish line will be on the beach where family and friends will cheer athletes in. All athletes will get medals and be entered to win a mountain bike!
Parents and Guardians are required to volunteer on the race course to guarantee a safe experience for all athletes.

race registration
Online registration is open until July 17, 2025. Last chance registration is open in person at Grafton Lakes State Park Beach from 3:00-5:00pm on Friday, July 18 at an increased cost.
packet pick up
Parents and guardians may collect their child's race numbers and swim caps between 3:00-5:15pm on Friday, July 18 at the Grafton Lakes State Park Beach Tent to the left side of the beach.
SKYHIGH Adventures Staff will be available to body mark youth athletes who would like to have their race numbers on their arm and leg (not required, but enjoyed by many kids!)

3:00 - 5:00pm: Last minute race registration
3:00 - 5:15pm: Packet Pick Up and Body Marking
5:00 - 5:45pm: Transition Area Open for Athletes only
(SKYHIGH staff will assist racers with bikes and equipment)
5:15pm: Mandatory Athlete and Parent Course Walk-through
5:45pm: Transition Area Closes for All Athletes
6:00pm: Race Begins!*
6:30pm: Post-Race snacks and drinks for all athletes at the beach tent
7:00pm: Approximate time for Awards Ceremony and Bike Raffle
*DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF ATHLETES REGISTERED, THE RACE MAY BE SPLIT INTO 2 WAVES BASED ON ATHLETE AGE, WITH THE OLDER ATHLETES GOING FIRST. AGE DIVISIONS ARE BASED ON THE AGES OF ALL REGISTERED ATHLETES ON RACE DAY.
requirements for parents/guardians
In order for this race to be safely run, we require that each athlete have a parent or guardian volunteer on the race course or in the beach area. These volunteer spots will be assigned during the course walk-through. Volunteers will help with keeping athletes on course, assisting with falls and bike issues, and of course, CHEERING!
bike raffle
SKYHIGH Adventures is happy that we are able to raffle off a mountain bike to one lucky athlete or spectator every year! Every athlete receives one (1) complementary raffle ticket, and everyone has the opportunity to purchase more chances. Along with the bike raffle, every athlete receives an item from our prize table, and there are medals for the top 3 athletes in each gender at every age! Overall winners will be awarded with trophies.
Money raised from the Bike Raffle is used to provide camperships to families in financial need.
50/50 raffle
In addition to the Bike Raffle, we hold a 50/50 raffle that benefits both the winner and the SKYHIGH Adventures Campership Fund.
